Our lodge including swimming pool, whirlpool, and sauna opened January 14, 2005 with our full-service restaurant and lounge opening soon after on April 25, 2005. Located on the Bill Nichols snowmobile/ATV trail, you can literally ride right from your own private lodge room door. If hiking, biking or cross-country skiing is your passion, there are acres of trails and woods to explore in the state park surrounding Parkview. Downhill skiing is located within an hour drive. With an average of 300 inches of snowfall each year, each season this area becomes a true winter wonderland. In warmer months, boating, fishing and swimming are available just across the road at the Twin Lakes State Park. Golfing is also just five minutes away. Or take a day trip to near by Lake Superior, the Porcupine Mountains or Copper Harbor. Located in the heart of Copper Country, we recommend including a visit to the area copper mines, including The Adventure Mining Company in Greenland, The Quincy Mine in Hancock, and The Caledonia Mine" between Mass City and Rockland. You can take underground tours to learn the rich history of the area and at Caledonia Mine you can take your turn "mining" for treasure.
